yo man don’t listen to these peeps. nice instruction it’s hard to explain beatmatching and i thought you did a great job. only thing i would do different is to count the bars in 4 counts. 1234 2234 3234 and so on.

  9. casanovah42100 says:

    thanks

  10. hardkore360 says:

Y the hell are there subtitles on these videos? And not to mention they are way out of sync…………. Finally those vocals were cut off way too prematurely…

For the real expert village, consult DJ Qbert :-)

  11. akaNadik says:

damn man , i come from a house background and the abrupt cut in hip hop mixing doesn’t sound right to me, like the transition isn’t clean unless you have some kind of effects addon. especially since i mix ol school and underground , where for the most part the beat can differ greatly. **** it back to the drawing board.

  12. kiddfranchize says:

u could just use virtual dj or some sort of internal mixer LOL

  13. blkburban says:

@GTEvilGnome even tho you match the beats the lyrics need to come in at the right time or you Wreck the Train

  14. Warrenely says:

  16. D0Work2 says:

    nice

  17. GTEvilGnome says:

can’t you jusy sync it? it beat matches automatically

  18. blkburban says:

@Nocturnal01 Aloha bruddah Easy beginner way to do this, 99% of music runs in a 32 beat cycle, forget counting bars, just count from the first bass drop/down beat as 1, and high hat/up beat as 2, or everytime you would bob your head to the beat would be a count, almost every chorus is 32 beats and almost every rap is 2 counts or 64 beats. easier to count this way than 1,2,3,4, 1 1,2,3,4 2…. so in short when a rap or chorus starts that is 1.

hip hops the *** **** you could ix

  21. Boutit5150 says:

@nocturnal01 Im no expert bro but what helps me is i usually wait for the last lyric to be sung or rapped (could be chorus or rap outro) and then usually something changes in the beat immediately after….say they take out a piano hook and just have drums and high hats….. and boom…you throw in your new 1 and start beatmatching and then switch before the lyrics on the new one hits.

  22. Djteedoe420 says:

    your fake!!!!

  23. Nocturnal01 says:

How do you know when the 1 is on the record that’s already playing?
